The secret of perfect lips & anaesthesia in the PMU
Lips have always been a symbol of sensuality. At all times, predominantly women tried by all means to emphasise the natural shape of their lips or to correct aesthetic deficiencies. Lip correction thus has a long history. Unlike in the 1990s, when hard contours and the "sharpie look" characterised PMU, today, thanks to the most innovative micropigmentation techniques, we are witnessing a revolutionary breakthrough towards completely delicate and natural lip shades.
In order to pigment perfect lips, important factors such as expertise and skill, but also the selection of the right shape, technique, equipment, pigments and needle modules play a decisive role.

Permanent BEAUTY Masters – Opening
Clear the stage for the premiere of the Permanent BEAUTY Masters: At the opening, the finalists of the championship introduce themselves and present their model without pigmentation. The jury will also make their first big appearance - accompanied by attractive dancers and their show programme.
Afterwards it will be exciting: in the PMU Working Zone in Hall 11 the finalists will pigment live - watching, observing, analysing is welcome. Who will be the winner in the categories "Powder Brows" and "Volume Lips"? Don't miss the grand finale and the award ceremony in the afternoon!

Permanent Make-up – Colours & EU REACH Regulation
Since 04.01.2022 the new REACH regulation EC 1907/2006 Annex XVII applies to tattoo and permanent make-up colours. Due to the ban of certain pigments and new purity requirements, artists are uncertain whether their usual products will continue to be compliant. In this lecture, the challenges of the REACH regulation for the development of new PMU colours will be presented from the perspective of a manufacturer of PMU colours and the development process will be explained.
Furthermore, the special features of organic pigments and inorganic pigments will be explained using the example of the Organic Line and Evolution Line in the formulation. Dr. Cornelia Hildebrandt will also address current topics such as azo pigments and titanium dioxide.
