PARTICIPATION GUIDE
How should you prepare for a nail tech competition?
It is advisable to seek advice from a former competitor in the form of a mentor. Also, practice is key to honing your skills and optimizing your timing.
What should you bring with you to take part in the competition?
Full equipment and confidence. Check if you need to bring a lamp or a garbage can, and make sure certain products need to be unopened. Make sure all products are labeled. A watch for your model so that they can keep an eye on the time and inform you of the time is advisable. Two bottles of water for you and your model are also useful.
What can you do to calm your nerves before/during the competition?
Everyone suffers from nerves, no matter how many times they've taken part in a competition - it's completely normal in this environment. So, take a deep breath, find the right mindset and focus on the competition. Don't think too much and don't be put off by the size of the hall or the people you see there.
What should you pay attention to before the competition?
The temperature of the room (for the technique and the model), the noise level, the choice of seating, the lighting in the room and that you have all the products you need with you.
What should you do after the competition?
Most competitions send out the evaluation forms by e-mail within 2 weeks of the end of the competition. These will help you to identify where you need to practice and where your strengths lie. Use the evaluation sheets as a guide for your journey.
What can you expect from Nailympia?
A sense of family - we are one big nail community and we thrive on being together and connecting. Nailympia is a beautiful place filled with creativity and positive vibes. It's a great place for nails.
