With the LASH Excellence Trophy powered by Miss Lashes, professional lash styling will for the first time have its own international competition platform at BEAUTY Düsseldorf 2026. A total of 38 nominated lash artists from Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and the Netherlands will compete live in four categories, redefining precision, technique and creative excellence.
The competition will be held on Friday, 20 March 2026, and Sunday, 22 March 2026, as part of BEAUTY Düsseldorf. In an innovative live format, the finalists will work on models under competition conditions, demonstrating their skills in front of an audience and internationally renowned jury of experts.
With the LASH Excellence Trophy, BEAUTY is expanding its competition portfolio, which already includes established formats like the Permanent BEAUTY Masters and the Make-up ARTIST AWARD. The aim is to highlight the quality of craftsmanship and innovative power in the field of eye aesthetics and to set new standards.
Forming the emotional highlight here are the respective “Trophy Reveals” on the main stage of the trade fair, where the winners are ceremoniously announced.
Four Competition Categories
The LASH Excellence Trophy comprises four disciplines reflecting the full breadth of professional lash styling. The Basic (1:1-Technique) Category focuses on conventional single lash application – precise mapping, clean implementation and technical perfection are key here.
The Volume Technique demands the utmost concentration and sensitivity: breathtaking fans, harmonious transitions and precise lines characterise the overall look.
Individual Style provides a platform for the creative side of lash art – avant-garde looks, unusual shapes and individual expression define this discipline.
The natural counterpart to this is the Lash Lifting category, where perfect curl and aesthetic emphasis on natural lashes create an expressive yet authentic effect.

The LASH Excellence Trophy is judged by a high-calibre, internationally renowned panel of experts.
Anna Ardor is one of the most influential figures in the international lash industry. As the developer of innovative techniques such as nano volume and SPINNING, and founder of the Ardor Academy, she has been setting standards in training, technical development and quality for over 13 years now.
Anna Davudova is an international instructor, product developer and owner of her own eyelash production facility. With training activities spanning more than 20 countries and experience as a judge at global championships, she stands for technical excellence and innovative strength on an international level.
Elena Asher is the founder of the international brand LashMakers and a sought-after judge at renowned beauty and lash competitions worldwide. She is known for her uncompromising quality standards and her role in the further development of modern lash art and professional training standards.
Evelyn Fritsch is one of Germany's most renowned lash experts boasting over 14 years’ industry experience. As a lecturer, speaker and international competition participant, she stands for the highest precision, technical perfection and excellence in training.
Minka Husedinovic is the founder of the MINX Academy and is considered a pioneer of modern lash design and wet & wispy techniques in Germany. She combines technical excellence with entrepreneurial know-how and has trained numerous lash artists in Germany and abroad.
