The countdown has begun for the ‘Permanent Beauty Masters 2026’: The renowned contest at BEAUTY Düsseldorf is once again looking for the best international PMU artists in four challenging categories. Anyone who registers as an early bird at https://www.beauty-duesseldorf.com/pbm_2 by 30 November 2025 will secure twice the chance to participate in the big live final show.
The Permanent Beauty Masters 2026 will take place on Saturday, 21 March 2026 as part of BEAUTY Düsseldorf – the industry’s leading meeting place for cosmetics, nails, lashes, foot care and wellness. For the fourth time, outstanding PMU professionals from all over the world will compete against each other and showcase the core disciplines of their craft. In collaboration with Olga Hendricks and her team at OH-ACADEMY, the competition will once again be a stage for technical perfection, creative expression and the highest level of professionalism.
“The Permanent Beauty Masters are the highlight of the Permanent BEAUTY Area and our platform for real talent: Here, permanent make-up artists show what they can do live – fairly, transparently and professionally. Those who impress here have the chance to really get started,” says Hannes Niemann, Director of BEAUTY Düsseldorf.
Four categories – one goal: perfection in every detail
The artists compete in four selected disciplines that require the highest precision and a trained aesthetic eye:
- Volume Lips – harmonious, full lips with soft contours
- Shaded Eyeliner – fine shading for more depth and expression
- Powder Brows – gentle powder technique for a natural finish
- Hair Stroke Brows – delicate hair strokes with a realistic effect
All procedures are carried out live in front of an audience and evaluated by an independent jury of experts according to clear criteria. An additional hygiene jury ensures compliance with all regulations and the use of REACH-compliant products.
Twice the chance for early birds
As in the previous year, there will be two rounds of nominations – and thus twice the chances of winning: After the closing date for submissions in the first phase on 30 November 2025, the jury will nominate three finalists per category. The second round of submissions ends on 18 January 2026, after which a further seven artists per category will be selected.
In the grand finale on the second day of the trade fair, the best artists will showcase their skills live on models in the Permanent BEAUTY Live Zone – a crowd-puller full of emotion, precision and creativity.
