BEAUTY PLAZA - the new centrepiece of the trade fair
The new BEAUTY PLAZA event stage in Hall 10 will become the pulsating centre of BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF. It replaces the previous Meeting Point and functions as a central location for discovering trends, innovations and networking. In a relaxed lounge atmosphere reminiscent of a Mediterranean marketplace, dynamic shows, live demonstrations and inspiring talks will take place at BEAUTY PLAZA. This is where industry insiders, creative minds and celebrities from the beauty world come together. A new highlight awaits guests every hour - from thrilling shows and impressive live demonstrations to exciting talks with the stars of the beauty world.
Premiere of the Make-up ARTIST AWARD
Another highlight of the trade fair is the first-ever Make-up ARTIST AWARDS, which will transform BEAUTY into a festival of creativity on Friday and Saturday. Make-up artists from all over the world will have the chance to showcase their talent in front of a high-calibre jury and, of course, the trade audience. In two rounds, the participants will compete for the coveted title and demonstrate their technical skills and creative vision. Whether special effects, bridal, airbrush or editorial, there are no limits to creativity in this competition. The special guests, who will hold exciting masterclasses and inspiring panel talks, will add a special touch of glamour. Renowned personalities such as experienced hair and make-up artist Rim Zemuye, actress Janine Kunze and entrepreneur Miriam Jacks, founder of jacksbeautyline, will enrich the event with inspiring contributions. The event will be hosted by Loni Baur, known from the TV show ‘Glow up’, and Ahmed Mnissi, make-up artist and podcaster. In a panel talk in the BEAUTY PLAZA on the topic of ‘The power of touch: touch and neurocosmetics’, Dr Schrammek and Dr Meike Streker will be setting innovative accents. The BEAUTY talk with internationally renowned make-up artist and hairstylist Serena Goldenbaum is also a must-see. After a short masterclass by Goldenbaum, who has worked for celebrities such as Helene Fischer and Gisele Bündchen, she will talk to Dr Streker about ‘Treat your inner beauty - true radiance starts from within’. Miriam Jacks will also be a guest at the popular BEAUTY Talk and will share her experiences and insights as inspiration for all those who want to be successful and authentic in an ever-changing beauty world. Another highlight: BEAUTY host Ahmed Mnissi will present the live podcast ‘Behind the Brushes’ on Friday, in which he and the experts from The Face art academy will take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the make-up world. This year's Golden Mask will be awarded to Florian Ferino on Saturday afternoon at BEAUTY PLAZA. With the ‘Golden Mask for Make-up Artistry’, KRYOLAN Professional Make-up and Messe Düsseldorf honour make-up artists for exceptional creativity, professional competence and special commitment to the profession of make-up artist.
The BEAUTY full SKIN Stage will have the overarching theme of ‘A Longlife Beauty’ and will showcase approaches that slow down cellular ageing and thus maintain skin health in the long term. In addition to further lectures on ‘Neurocosmetics’, highlights include a talk on ‘Mindfulness as skin care’ and masterclasses by Dr Judith Bildau on the hormonal influence on skin health and by Dr Britta Kühlmann on the topic of ‘Longevitiy = Forever Young?’ on how to keep your (skin) cells fit for a long time and age healthily. In ‘Rosacea in the perimenopause - understanding changes and taking targeted action’, Susanne Martens shows how to recognise and support individual skin needs. In her lecture ‘Sugar as a collagen killer’, Adaeze Wolf shows how sugar accelerates skin ageing and what can be done about it.
The BEAUTY full NAILS Stage promises practical insights into the world of nail design. Sonja Landtrachtinger and Christian Schön will give insights into the future of the beauty industry with their presentation ‘Beauty, Nails and AI’. Innovative technologies such as ‘Entity Soft Gel Tips and Entity Creamy Colour Gel’ will be presented live by Max Braga and Doris Weskamp. Frank Schäberle will provide helpful tips for artificial nails or Shellac manicures that do not last as long as they should with ‘No more lifts’. Zrinka B. Vuksan provides creative impulses with ‘Abstract Studio/Salon Nail Art’, as does Jeanette Ulriksen with ‘Acrylic 3D flat nail art Flowers’.
The BEAUTY Business Stage will once again inspire with topics relating to success and visibility for business. Felicia Simon will share valuable Instagram tips in her talk ‘Social Media Secrets’, while Yvonne Schönau invites you to discover your own voice and power in ‘Speak Your Truth’. Lotta Katharina Laabs will talk about genuine personal branding as a success factor and give practical tips for an authentic appearance that creates and strengthens trust.
The BEAUTY full FEET Stage is all about foot care and podiatry. Among other things, physiotherapist Oliver Derigs will provide in-depth knowledge on the anatomy of the feet, while specialist lawyer Mirja Trautmann will shed light on the benefits of digitalisation in podiatry. Dr Marcus Altmeier will also focus on the important link between diabetology and podiatry, including prevention and treatment options.
The Permanent BEAUTY Area is the central meeting point for the world of permanent make-up. Exciting lectures, impressive live demonstrations, diverse exhibitors and the Permanent BEAUTY Masters - a high-calibre championship and its emotional award ceremony make this exclusive area an experience. You can discover innovative products, first-class techniques and a platform for exchange and inspiration. Highlights on stage include Diana Milushkina with her masterclass ‘Real Hairstroke’, Olga Hendricks and Andy Engel with expert lectures on the topic of ‘Medical PMU’, Dr. Dr. med. univ. Prof. Hans Bayer on the topic of ‘PMU & Tattoo Removal’ The programme will be complemented by Elanore Laqmani, who will provide valuable impulses for PMU professionals with her lecture on ‘Market Positioning through Branding’, and Elena Nikora, who will provide well-founded insights into the selection and application of the right pigments in her session on ‘Colours & PMU’.
