The latest scientific findings provide a first insight into the manifold interactions between connective tissue, immune system, neural system and endocrine system. Not least, the interactions also surprise with the effects they have on skin health and psyche. Connective tissue and fascias play an important role as a switching point between the body level and the soul level.

Yoga also plays such a role. The slow and long stretching exercises in yoga have always been training for connective tissue and fascias. In light of the latest research, the yoga units can be modified in an even more targeted manner to strengthen and regenerate the connective tissue. The sport therapist Katharina Brinkmann has developed an innovative training form with fascias yoga. Individual rituals and short exercises can accompany a cosmetic treatment and optimise its effects. Deposits in the connective tissue are loosened and carried away; subliminal, chronic inflammations are battled by way of stabilising the immune system; the blood flow is stimulated and ultimately premature ski ageing is slowed down.
