Nature is considered to be the source of health, regeneration and vitalisation. Green landscapes strengthen positive feelings such as joy, happiness and contentment. In addition, they also lessen negative feelings such as fear, anger and aggression. Nature scenes and symbols bring forth subconscious, soothing and regenerating effects on the nervous system and metabolism. Research has confirmed that in this regard beautiful forests, parks, trees and bodies of water –including their natural sounds – are particularly effective, whereas urban scenarios create the opposite effect.
The special show Wellness “Nature & Spa“ demonstrates with practical and easy-to-implement equipment and furnishing examples, how nature can be brought into the wellness areas of hotels and spas. The conception of the special show Wellness “Nature & Spa“ is provided by the German Wellness Association (Deutsche Wellness Verband). Experts of the association are at hand with information and advice during the trade fair.
