Resilience – factors against overload and burnout

Our society is suffering from stress, everyone is talking about burnout. Stress is seen as an important reason for burnouts as well as for depressions. This is why research is focusing on the effects of stress – and justifiably so. These effects do not only cast a shadow over the lives of the people affected and their families, reducing health and wellbeing, but they are also a phenomenon that meanwhile influences our entire society to a great extent.
