Liquid lifting, Botox, medical needling, micro-liposome technique, thread facelift, Ultherapy, Cryolipolysis, Radiesse, laser, hyaluronic acid: In aesthetic medicine and cosmetics, the market is well-filled with equipment, processes and materials for the optimisation of body and face. And the market is booming! It is not always easy to accept the changes in your own appearance in the course of life. At some point you cannot smile away the first wrinkles when looking in the mirror, and you come to the sobering conclusion that you are getting older. How do you deal with this? Do you just accept it? Do you make use of the possibilities of modern aesthetic medicine?

In order to be able to assess the opportunities and risks of aesthetic medicine, medical specialist Dr. Frank Muggenthaler provides an overview of the current methods. In addition to the presentation of the means and methods, he explains their fields of application and casts a rather critical eye on what is happening in his own métier.
