Golden Era for Fashion and Make-up
Gold, silver and bronze – i.e. metallic colours – are currently posting the top scores in terms of fashion, accessories and make-up. Gold is luxury. This look is familiar in evening wear but now gold-coloured separates are coordinated with plains in winter white, grey and anthracite even for daywear. Gold is particularly trendy in conjunction with the nude look. Soft white, sand, pebble and cream shades, powder hues, greige and light grey will dominate basic lines. A brand new development are the sporty shapes and matt tones for bags, shoes and belts now combined with outdoor daywear.

For make-up, too, noble elegance takes the place of glitter and glimmer. Although silhouettes are austere, the total appearance is feminine, almost fairy-like and perfectly suited to pale complexions and blonde hair. The light, matt foundation is only provided with subtle rouge accents in pale shades. Eye shadow in grey tones “circles” the eye while highlights in matt gold exude modernity and extravagance. Lips are given precise contours but in pale, delicate colours or matt gold tones.
