Final press release cosmade trade fair 2004

3rd cos made trade fair fulfils expectations of visitors and exhibitors alike – professional forum will be integrated into BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL in future

The expectations of international exhibitors and visitors were fulfilled at the 3rd cos made trade fair, held in Düsseldorf on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21, 2004. The professional forum, which occasionally had been held at the same time as BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL, the largest international trade fair for professional cosmetics, offered a cross-section of the areas of raw materials, manufacturing, packaging and service as well as a wide range of professional presentations. “The atmosphere was excellent,“ cos made’s Managing Director Frank Richter confirmed. He added that a definite improvement with regards to the quality of the visitors and exhibitors was noted in comparison to the previous year. “Our concept to move the cos made trade fair to the Friday/Saturday date proved successful,” Richter said. On first day of the event, visitor numbers were particularly high.
The exhibition offers of the 41 international exhibitors were not the only thing attracting the approximately 1,200 visitors; the professional programme, including twelve presentations on topics such as “Aerosol Filling Technology” or “Cosmetics in the 21st Century”, also drew a lot of interest.

In order to profit even more from the synergy effects created by cos made trade fair and BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL in future, the professional forum shall be integrated into the exclusive cosmetics order area of BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL as of next year. „With this, we expect an optimal connection of all areas and thus increased efficiency,” Project Leader Helmut Winkler explained. He added that a joint b-to-b concept, combined with an import/export lounge, would lead to a concentration of all segments and therefore be in the interest of the sector as a whole.

The next cos made trade fair professional forum shall take place on Friday, March 04 to Sunday, March 6, 2005.
